Dang Good Referral Program Terms

• Anyone 18 or older who can provide a valid U.S. W-9 can be a referrer: active clients, past clients, and friends of Dang Good Sites.
• Dang Good Sites team members and contractors aren't eligible.
• You join by signing up at danggoodsites.com/referrals. You'll get a personal referral link and code.

1. Share your link or code. Send your personal link, or have the business enter your code (or your name) in the "Who referred you?" field when they contact us.
2. Introduce us. Use the "Introduce us" form on danggoodsites.com/referrals to send us the business's name and contact details. We'll reach out to them ourselves. Please let them know first that we'll be in touch.

A referral is valid when all of these are true:

• The business is new to Dang Good Sites. It isn't a current or past client, and it isn't already a contact with an open sales opportunity with us.
• It's not a self-referral. You can't refer yourself, your own business, or a business you own or co-own.
• We have a record of it within 90 days. Your link is saved in the visitor's browser for 90 days after they click it. An "Introduce us" submission is valid for 90 days. The business needs to contact us (or respond to us) inside that window. After that, the referral stays tied to you as long as they become a paying client within 12 months.
• First valid referrer wins. If two people refer the same business, the reward goes to the earliest valid record (a link visit tied to their inquiry, a code or name entered on a form, or an "Introduce us" submission).

A referred business becomes a qualifying referral once it becomes a paying client, meaning we've received its first payment.

Your cash reward for each referred client has two parts:

Maximum: $500 cash per referred client, for both parts combined.

Eligible monthly plans: Maintenance & Hosting, SEO + AI Search (GEO), Owned Media, and Social Media.

Not counted: Video & Photo, one-time content or shoots, the SEO Setup Fee, hourly or off-menu work, taxes, and processing fees.

In short: your cash reward = 10% of the website package price + 50% of one month of eligible monthly plans, both at the prices the client actually pays, up to $500 combined per referred client. If the client gets a discount (including a bundle discount), each part is calculated on the discounted price.

There's one payout rule, with two parts:

• Website portion: paid within 14 days after the referred client's website is paid in full.
• Retainer portion: paid within 14 days after the referred client's 3rd paid monthly payment.

Nothing is owed before those milestones. If the referred client cancels or is refunded before a milestone, that part isn't paid. Once a part has been paid, it's yours to keep.

Parts are paid in the order their milestones are reached, and the running total for each referred client never goes above the $500 cap.

• If you're an active Dang Good Sites client (you have a paid plan or a project in progress) when a part becomes payable, you can take that part as account credit worth 1.5× the cash amount. The maximum is $750 in credit per referred client.
• You choose cash or credit for each part when we confirm the payout. If you mix them, $1.50 of credit counts as $1 toward the $500 cap.
• Credit is applied to your next Dang Good Sites invoices until it's used up. It has no cash value, can't be transferred, and can't be exchanged for cash later.

• Get a $100 bonus (or $150 in credit if you're an active client) for your 3rd qualifying referral in a calendar year. A qualifying referral is a referred business that becomes a paying client.
• The year is based on the date each referred client makes its first payment.
• The bonus is paid together with that 3rd client's first reward payout. If that client never reaches a payout milestone, the bonus moves to your next qualifying referral that year.
• One bonus per calendar year. The bonus doesn't count toward the $500 per-client cap.

• Cash rewards are paid by Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or check, whichever you choose at signup.
• We need a completed W-9 before your first cash payout. Rewards that become due before we have it are held, not forfeited, and paid within 14 days after we receive it.
• If your cash rewards from us total $2,000 or more in a calendar year, we'll issue you a Form 1099. ($2,000 is the IRS threshold for 2026 payments and may be adjusted for inflation starting in 2027.) Rewards may be taxable income to you. Please check with your tax advisor.

We may refuse or reverse a referral that breaks these terms, including spam, fake or duplicate contacts, self-referrals, or misleading claims about Dang Good Sites. Please don't make promises on our behalf about pricing, timelines, or results.

We may change or end the program by posting updated terms on this page with 30 days' notice. Referrals recorded before a change keep the terms that were in effect when they were recorded, and rewards you've earned will always be honored.
