    Our Story & Mission

    What led us here.

The story behind Dang Good Sites — where we came from, what we saw that needed fixing, and how it shaped the partner we are today.

    Where it started

    A decade in the trenches.

Before Dang Good Sites existed, our team spent more than a decade inside agencies and in-house marketing teams. We watched great businesses get overlooked — not because their product was weak, but because their website was dated, slow, or invisible in search. The problem wasn't the businesses. It was an industry that overcharged and underdelivered.

    The breaking point

    Good businesses, bad options.

We kept seeing the same story: a local restaurant, a contractor, a family-owned shop paying thousands for a website that looked pretty but did nothing. Either the price was out of reach, the process was a black box, or the agency vanished the moment the invoice was paid. Something had to give.

    A different idea

Built for the businesses left behind.

So we started Dang Good Sites with a simple premise — growing businesses deserve the same caliber of website and visibility work as the big brands, without the big-brand price tag or the runaround. We wanted to build the kind of partner we always wished we'd had.

    Beyond the website

    Visibility became the mission.

Early on, we realized a beautiful site alone wasn't enough. If nobody finds it, it doesn't matter. That's when our focus shifted from just building websites to building visibility — search, content, and the integrated strategy that turns a website into a real growth engine.

    Who we are now

    A partner, not a vendor.

Today we're a small, senior team that takes on a limited number of partners each quarter. We started because the industry was broken, and we're still here because the work matters — helping the businesses that power our communities finally get seen.
